what I plan to get up to in the future!
I'm an award-losing(nominated twice, lost twice) romantic comedy novelist from Margate, although now I live in London. Previously, I worked as a professional lifeguard, fitness-equipment salesman, and most recently, an I.T. headhunter, where my success in re-writing peoples' CVs made me think I might have a talent for fiction. As well as seven novels, I've also written about life, love, and relationships for the likes of The Times, Guardian, and The Sun, along with a number of magazines including Cosmopolitan, Company, Elle, and Glamour.
Thank you everyone who bought A Day at the Office. When I published it last year, I never thought it'd be an Amazon Top Ten bestseller, let alone their #1 Humour, #1 Humour/Fiction, #1 Contemporary Romance, #1 Romantic Comedy, #1 in Women's Popular Fiction (knocking 50 Shades off the top spot), and even the best-selling Amazon ebook in Australia (for about an hour, admittedly, but still...). I've just delivered book 8 (working title: What Might Have Been), which is due out in June, and I'll post/tweet more details when I have them.
Since you probably own a computer, tablet, or smartphone (or you've stolen someone else's, seeing as you're reading this), if you want to get in touch, you can email me on
-it'd be great to hear from you. Alternatively, click on the links on the left to friend me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter for regular updates (and a steady stream of bad jokes). There'll be prizes (for followers, not the jokes)...
